The Dashboard is your command center. It loads the moment you open the app and shows everything at a glance.

4 Setting Goals

Every goal in GOALS has a structure. You are not just writing down a wish — you are defining a commitment.

1
Tap the + button on your Dashboard or navigate to Goal Tracker in the side menu.
2
On the "Set your goal" screen, select a category: Finance Goal, Health, or Personal Development Goal. Tap the numbered card for your choice.
3
Tap Continue to open the goal creation form.
4
Fill in the fields:
  • Goal Title — A clear, specific name (e.g., "Ferrari California T").
  • Goal Objective — Describe what achieving this looks and feels like.
  • Starting Date — When you begin working toward it.
  • Ending Date — Your target completion date.
  • Image / Video (optional) — Tap the upload area to attach a visual to your goal.
5
For Finance Goals, a second screen lets you set:
  • Total Investment — What this goal will cost.
  • Total Earned — What you have put toward it so far.
  • Earned Amount — Track incremental progress.
6
Tap Save. Your goal now appears on the Dashboard and in your Goal Tracker.
Tip The best goals have a specific end date and a measurable objective. "Get healthy" is a wish. "Run 5K in under 30 minutes by July 31" is a GOALS goal.

5 Milestones & Tasks

Milestones break your goal into a sequence of completable steps. This is the execution layer inside every goal.

1
Open a goal and tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top-right corner.
2
In the Options sheet, tap Create Milestone.
3
Enter a Milestone title (max 80 characters) and a Milestone Objective (max 200 characters).
4
Tap + Add another task to add individual tasks under the milestone. Each task has a checkbox you can complete independently.
5
Tap Save. The milestone is now attached to your goal and updates your overall progress percentage.
Why milestones matter: A goal without milestones is a destination without a map. Milestones show you the next immediate step, which is the only step that matters right now.

6 Reminders

GOALS sends you push notifications so the system shows up even when motivation doesn't.

1
Open a goal and tap the three-dot menu. Tap Reminder.
2
Use the time picker (hour / minute / AM–PM) to set the time you want the reminder to fire.
3
Select which days of the week the reminder should fire using the S M T W T F S buttons. Tap Select All for daily reminders.
4
Toggle Repeat reminder on to keep receiving the notification on the selected schedule.
5
Tap Next to save. The app will ask for notification permission if not already granted — tap Allow.
Tip Set reminders at a time you are always free and alert — not during commutes or meetings. Morning or evening work best for most people.

7 Mood Tracking

Mood tracking ties your emotional state to your goal progress. Over time, patterns emerge that reveal what conditions make you most effective.

1
Open a goal and tap the three-dot menu. Tap Track Mood.
2
Tap a number from 1 to 10 to rate your current mood. Each number is color-coded — 1 being the lowest, 10 the highest.
3
In the text field, answer the prompts: "What are your intentions for the day? How do you plan to focus your energy?" (max 200 characters).
4
Tap Save. The mood entry is logged against today's date for this goal.

8 Progress Journal

The Progress Journal is where you document what's happening as you work toward your goal. It builds a record of your journey.

1
Open a goal. Tap the three-dot menu and select Progress Journal.
2
Optionally, tap the upload area at the top to attach one or more images that document your progress.
3
In the large text area, write your update: what you've faced, what you've learned, what comes next. Prompts guide you: "Please share what you've faced."
4
Tap Save. The entry is timestamped and added to your goal's journal history.
The journal is private by default. Journal entries are only visible to you regardless of your goal's public/private visibility setting.

9 Self-Reflection

Self-reflection is the most underused feature in any goal system. GOALS builds it directly into every goal.

1
Open a goal. Tap the three-dot menu and select Self Reflect.
2
In the Reflection Question field, either type your own question or tap the dropdown arrow to select a preset reflection prompt.
3
Tap + Add to add your response. You can add multiple responses to the same question.
4
Tap Save to log the reflection.
Tip Use Self-Reflect weekly, not just when things go wrong. Consistent reflection during success is what compounds growth.

10 Vision Board

The Vision Board is a dedicated space to visualize your designed life. Access it from the side navigation menu.

1
Tap the hamburger icon (☰) to open the side navigation menu.
2
Tap Vision Board.
3
Add images, quotes, and targets that represent what you are building toward. These are not tied to specific goals — they represent the life beyond the goals.
4
Review your Vision Board regularly. It should feel aspirational — and increasingly familiar as you make progress.

11 Community Feed

The Community Feed shows you goals from other GOALS users who have chosen to share publicly. You can also share your own.

13 Using GOALS Offline

GOALS is designed to work without an internet connection for core features. Your data is stored locally on your device and synced to your account when connectivity is restored.

Available Offline

  • View all your goals and milestones
  • View your Dashboard and progress charts
  • Write Progress Journal entries
  • Log Mood Tracking entries
  • Write Self-Reflection responses
  • Edit goal details (title, objective, dates)
  • Mark tasks as complete
  • Set and edit Reminder schedules
  • View your Vision Board
  • Browse your goal history

Requires Internet

  • Creating a new account or logging in for the first time
  • Syncing data to a new device
  • Browsing the Community Feed
  • Viewing other users' public goals
  • Liking, commenting, or sharing
  • Uploading images and videos to goals
  • Receiving push notifications (for reminders)
How sync works: When you reconnect to the internet, GOALS automatically syncs any changes made offline to your account in the background. You do not need to do anything manually. If there are any sync conflicts, the most recent entry is preserved.

Enabling Offline Mode on iOS

  1. Go to iPhone Settings → GOALS → allow Background App Refresh.
  2. Make sure GOALS has permission to use Local Storage in Settings.
  3. The first time you open GOALS with internet, your data is cached locally.
  4. You can then use the app in Airplane Mode or without Wi-Fi and your data will be there.

Enabling Offline Mode on Android

  1. Ensure GOALS was granted Storage permission during installation.
  2. Open GOALS with internet connection at least once to cache your data locally.
  3. You can then use GOALS without internet. Changes are queued and synced when you reconnect.
  4. If you cleared the app cache in Android Settings, you will need an internet connection to reload your data.

15 Pro Tips

01

Review the dashboard every morning

Three minutes on the Dashboard before you start your day keeps your goals in focus instead of buried under notifications.

02

Set milestones before reminders

Reminders without milestones just create guilt. Build the structure first, then let reminders hold you to it.

03

Use mood tracking before a hard session

Rate your mood before you work on a goal, not after. It sets an intention and makes you more likely to follow through.

04

Keep most goals private

Research shows sharing goals publicly before achieving them can reduce motivation. Use private goals for serious work. Share wins when they happen.

05

One Finance, one Health, one Personal Development

Three active goals across all three categories creates a complete life system. More than five goals at once dilutes focus.

06

Update your Vision Board quarterly

As you achieve goals, your vision should evolve. Review and refresh your Vision Board every three months.
